A Note About Our Handcrafted Designs The Sterling Link is committed to providing you with exclusive designs that are made with semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski ® crystals and freshwater pearls. Therefore, each design may have slight variations in color and shape due to the natural variations in the materials. Sales Tax A charge of 8.25% sales tax will be applied to all customers residing in the state of Texas. Order Processing Time Once your order has been received, please allow 3 days for sterling silver jewelry and 7 days for all handcrafted items, engraved jewelry and gift items. For all custom designed items, please allow 2 weeks. If there is a delay beyond this time frame, we will contact you via email.
Shipping Policy The Sterling Link ships via UPS and FedEx. Once you proceed to the checkout, you will have the option of selecting your preferred shipping method. If you prefer for your order to be shipped via the US Post Office, please make note in the comment box and we will contact you with the shipping cost. Tracking your Order Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an automated email notification confirming shipment and detailing your tracking number. This tracking number will allow you to follow the progress of your order in transit until it reaches you or your recipient. Warranty on Handcrafted Jewelry The Sterling Link stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of all its handcrafted jewelry. We offer a 14 day warranty for all handcrafted jewelry. This covers any flaws, defects or damage not due to normal usage. If your jewelry is in need of repair within the warranty period, please contact The Sterling Link at customersfirst@thesterlinglink.com to obtain a repair authorization number. Please include your invoice number. The customer is responsible for the shipping & handling charges for the merchandise. Jewelry care for your Sterling Silver The Sterling Link only offers .925 sterling silver. However, all sterling silver can tarnish. We suggest that you put your jewelry on last, after perfumes, lotions, hair spray, etc., and other chemical substances that cause damage to your jewelry. You should always remove your jewelry when showering, gardening, house cleaning and swimming, exposure can accelerate the tarnishing process. Store your jewelry separately in a jewelry box, airtight bag or pouch.
When using a special, formulated polishing cloth for sterling silver, gently polish the jewelry with the inner cloth and finish by buffing with the outer cloth. We do not recommend silver dips or paste, since the compounds may scratch the surface of your jewelry. Properly storing your jewelry when not wearing it can preserve the luster and shine. Jewelry care for your Handcrafted Jewelry Always put your jewelry on last to avoid any contact of harsh chemicals that can damage to your jewelry. Do not use a polishing cloth on semi-precious gemstones like pearls, turquoise, lapis, etc. A gentle wipe a soft cotton cloth should suffice.
Jewelry designs that contain Swarovski® crystals should be wiped gently with a warm, damp cotton cloth to remove any fingerprints and the natural oils from your skin. Use a soft cotton cloth to dry crystals. Never use a liquid cleaner to clean Swarovski® crystals. Monogramming Policy Please allow 7 days for engraving jewelry and gift items. All engraved orders are non-refundable. Please inspect your engraved item once received, if it is incorrectly engraved (different from what you have specified in your order) or if the item is structurally damaged, we will replace that item with a brand new one engraved to your specifications.
The price for engraving is included in all sorority and gift items. If there is an item that you would like engraved, the cost is $10 for the first three (3) letters. If you have a special request, please use the comment section when checking out. |
